Damn man I tell you... Non-stop downloading until dunno when to stop (hence, non-stop)


My friend introduced me this website called SimpleDesktop which she found on GoogleReader saying that the desktop wallpapers look good on Mac. And i was instantly hooked to the simple vector graphic.. super minimalistic! There's tons of it, and I haven't even finish browsing it and still downloading. It ranges from plants, pets, retro stuffs to cutesy characters. 


Eye pleasing I must say and wow, (example on top) i think i need to set my wallpapers to change every 5 seconds. XD

Valentine's Day 2012

Gah! Love is in the air, 

Couple tee's everywhere, 

#ForeverAlone spamming around and 

Hate quotes never fail to be sound.

So how do I even celebrate Valentine's Day when my boyfriend is not around? It's just "Tuesday" came into mind at first, but how can you ignore it when you see events like cheesy lines and roses and kisses and gifts and couple photos and bla bla bla Flooding Facebook? And i'm so out of budget to get "The Gift" for my boyfriend. I thought of making paper roses but then again it seems so unnecessary to a guy like him to keep that.. I can already imagine it being thrown in a corner after a week or so. So yeah, for now, forget about my boyfriend.


So instead of celebrating it with my partner , who is away at the moment, I decided to make use of whatever relationship I'm having with. And since I'm away from home, I called my bestie and family members, gave them instructions and voila! made a Valentine's Photo Collage to celebrate the love for my Family and Best Friend.

Call It What You Want - Late 21st Birthday Gift or Just Plain Surprise ♥

As soon as i'm back in my hometown for CNY,  I was rushed and given privilege by my dad to open a... Surprise surprise!

Too speechless for words to describe my excitement!

Gosh, what an excitement opening the grand prize that I've worked on so long. XD 

I actually asked and begged my dad to get my a MacBook for me (school's purpose the reason). And i've been saving that request for my 21st Birthday and unfortunately, it didn't work out that well. (Check out my previous post - ♥ & all to find out why). But nevertheless, I desperately need it for my school's work, mainly in design, and design needs serious graphic memory. I already had enough of the lagging and crashing from my ancient laptop, and I heard that MacBook is suitable for those kind of "jobs" that i'm "offering" Phew! I've been bearing with the previous Acer laptop for almost 2 years! 

I'm so happy to have finally gotten what I need and I am really thankful for my dad and my mom and everybody who told me to be patient and who actually told me to ask for it. XD


And as for my previous laptop, it is now 3 years+ old, still functioning "ok" and it's in good condition. My dad made me promise to give it to my mom, and I did. I miss it though, but oh well, at least my mom got to keep it and not sell it. :-P

Starbucks 2012 Planner

Ever since they introduce the Starbucks Christmas Edition Card (reload card), I was instantly hooked to the design, instantly bought the idea of the drinking coffee, and went from non-drinker to...wait, still non-drinker. 

This is the Christmas card they introduced, along with the service of reloading it,
and using it to buy your favorite drinks, tumbler, cakes etc. Mine is the snowman version though.

This card is basically free! all you need to do is to just pay RM20 for registration and the RM20 is directly credited into your preferred card. So, you pay RM20 and you still get RM20 to buy your drink(s).  


and... this is when I started to drink.


You can also redeem a planner worth RM88 by purchasing 15 handcrafted beverages(any size) with your card and claim the planner. Unlike last year, you need to purchase 15 beverages and the size MUST be grande. (guess they received complaints about not being flexible) I claimed mine last year, with the help of my Jusco card too, to claim discount for any drinks I purchased(cheap skate) But too bad, Jusco card is no longer applicable for any discount this year. And this is where I set a goal to drink that 15 Starbucks beverages, with the help of my boyfriend and friends of course, I would never be able to complete my quest without them. THANKS GUYS!

 Nice right? The cover of the planners are covered with wooden covers. Available in

Bamboo, Poplar, Spruce, Oak and Cherry. They even had fabric covers! talk about being eco-friendly.

So, back to where I left. 


I was so happy to have finally gotten my hands on the planner until.... Starbucks launched another promotion not long ago, where you can get the planner just by reloading RM100 to your card.  and I was like...

Waste of Time, Money and Calcium!
Again! It's basically FREE!!! Gaaaaargh!!!


Probably they couldn't finish giving/selling the planners that they have to come out with a new way to get rid of them. 


Anyways, at least I can get one for myself and my mom. I'm such a good daughter. (It was meant for her right at the beginning!) XD

Sorry, for not keeping you updated bloggie, cause I've been really busy, and you know how it feels like to be forced to shut down whenever my laptop start pms-ing and how it feels like to be ancient and lagging and slow and creaky and hot. And sometimes, you just hate it whenever the line goes berserk and just start being a bitch. I know you also hate that I pay more attention to Tetris Battle than you, and not seeing me work on the post that I'm supposed to work on (I DID HALFWAY THOUGH, just got very impatient with the lagging condition). I promise you it'll be alright and everything will be normal. 

You know that I have a lot of activities going on and many things that I wanted to say to you, and you know that I'll flood it within a short period of time, like how I used to do before, then leave you alone again. I promise I'll try to keep our relationship as steady as possible, and keep you update as soon as possible. Forgive me.
